recitation poem

Consider the poem you chose for your recitation. Identify the poem and the poet. 1) What do you think the poem is about? If you chose a poem that tells a story, then reflect instead on why you think that the poet chose to tell this particular story in a poem. 2) In 100 to 150 words, explain why you chose this poem for your recitation.

"Accidentally on Purpose" by Robert Frost

1) I think the poem is about how humans are so clueless about the universe, but they are also guided by those who are "chosen" and the "divine." It also says something about the purpose of life and humans. Only the "chosen" and "divine" can understand what happened.

2) I chose this poem, by Robert Frost, because the title, "Accidentally on Purpose", shows how everything was made. Also, the poem showed a different angle of perception on the world and society. The poem's style of words are very abstract, and the rhymes make the poem much more interesting. The interesting and carefully chosen words also helps create a colorful image in my brain which can help me interpret and understand the poem. The poem also has fun rhythm which has helped me memorize it. This is also based on one big idea, so that helps make it more focused.
